JAMAICA 1916 SG71aa Used War Stamp 1½d orange variety Watermark sideways digital-edition a very difficult Derby handstamp1916 (Sep Dec) 1d orange, type 20 "WAR STAMP" opt, variety WMK SIDEWAYS and additionally showing opt variety No stop after "STAMP", neatly cancelled by large part Savannah la Mar cds, dated "DE 9 16". One short perf mentioned for accuracy, still a really fine example of this rarity. The first example we have handled, and very desirable with fully dated cancel. [N. B. The No stop after "STAMP" variety occurs just seven times in the setting of 240.]
